First time vectoring a non-pony character from the show and first time making an attempt (and failing) at making a wallpaper

So here's a wallpaper of Gustav's mischievous face in Pinkie's flashback. The background is fairly simplistic mainly because I don't really have any programs I could make a creative background with, and I'd also probably spend a while just trying to figure out what the hell I'd make the background look like

If anyone of you who make those crazy good wallpapers wants to repair the damage I've done ( *COUGH* *COUGH* HINT HINT!!) I'll gladly upload Gustav alone.
Alternatively you could go download the SVG file found here:[link] and delete the background layer.

EDIT: Played around with some filters, so hopefully it should now look a little bit better and less bland

You should have added some kind of filter to make it look more like the really old black and white movies.

Yea, I know D: I'm just not all too sure how I'd go about doing that in inkscape. I did a little fooling around with some filters and put it in my stash [link] to show someone, so you could check it out and tell me if that looks any better....umm... if that's ok with you

It isn't all that great

I probably could have probably done something better with the background

I got bored, remembered this scene and and decided to make it quickly

I'll be doing another Gustav vector with normal colors in the near future though

The backgrounds fine, it matches the old-style of the flash back.

And if you want to make it better why not try out sepia tone and some film grain? I reckon that would spice up the wallpaper pretty well XD
